Trip to NYC
Trip to NYC was great!! I drove there... haha talk about driving in nyc... fun!!! It was a thrill..
I met Ducky Doolittle, who is amazing. I purchased her little book called inspired sales and loved reading it. I really suggest getting it if you are a newbie, and are struggling on telling people what you do.. I have been forever changed since I started with For Your Pleasure! I have became a sex educator!! Yup that's right! I never saw myself as one, but as just a sex toy lady... I'm a business woman and always saw myself as that, but maybe not so excited to pop out and say I do sex toy parties... now i'm proud to say I am a sex educator!! Where many other party plans throws a kit your way and off you go, hope you succeed at your business but it's not their concern, FYP goes the extra mile! There is a certification program, Ducky Doolittle's amazing trainings, info and chats, and so much more. I have been in the business for 4 years!!! And just now with this company have I found what it really means, proud that I can help people, and the thrist to find out as much as I can with the human body and about sex to help my clients even more.

A friend of mine in passion parties told me that they purchased the sales force of Spice It Up.. I wonder how many they purchased??? lol There weren't that many active SIU reps, why do you think the company went under?? Some decided to not do it all.. some went to other companies... and I know there's a group of us in FYP now... So besides the ladies that went over to passion parties, and got wooo'ed by Jodi... I wonder how many they really are going to get.. would love to know the details of that deal!!!
I hear that Jodi Stuck is collecting unemployment!! I'm not sure but how the heck can you collect unemployment when #1 It was your company that went under #2 you are with passion parties #3 You got/or are getting money from passion parties for the "sale"... #4 Isn't she living in Delaware now, but collecting from PA??? But F the girls that when you closed your doors lost their full time income, that can't collect unemployment!
I also hear that she's selling her products to Adult Shop 61 in the Pottsville, PA, More then $10,000... prob alot more but don't know the exact amounts, and that's on top of selling her products at her parties... hmm wonder if Passion Parties knows that she's selling cash and carry at her parties that arn't pp stuff.. And to some of her team members... that has to be against the rules... lol What 50% commission isn't good enough, or so that's what your telling people you get! I thought Jodi was big on rules?... Big on keeping her image nice.. but yet she's saying stuff on her myspace that we would of never got away with in her company.. But who cares right?.. it's not her company anymore... duh!

Crazy Week!
Whoa.. glad this week is over!! I just had 5 parties and over $2000 in sales for this week. I have a party on Thursday and then off to NYC for a big FYP meeting. I'm very excited to meet Ducky Doolittle!!! She'll be there with bells and whistles.. not sure if that's the only thing she'll be wearing.. hmm.. haha.. If you haven't checked out Ducky's book it's Sex With the Lights On! GREAT BOOK!
FYP rocks even more because of her. She is there every week doing chats with us teaching us more useful things to help our business. Ontop of the already awesome trainings that she does! I think I rambled on.. anyways.. I had a fantastic week, and it looks like it'll be a wonderful month even if it is starting to get cold. My team is doing amazing, and they are rocking it out..

Had my baby! :) October 6th
Well that was a long eventful time! I went through alot during my pregnancy, and it took a toll on me. I went from being #1 sales in Spice It Up, to quitting and going to a new company, to Jodi putting a stop payment on my check, that I counted on getting, to SIU closing down, and then rumors flew that she was planning on suing me.. for what I have no clue.. to doing great with For Your Pleasure, to being in the top 10 each month, and having a baby!!! (except October)
October 6th, Brooklyn Autumn Wall was born. She was 7lbs 1oz and 20 inches long. It's been 6 weeks and I fully understand why they give you 6 weeks off. Even though I went back to work only 11days after having her, I am just not being able to get everything caught up and my mind back to working order!
I am proud to say that the pregnancy did not get me down! I did 2749.00 for the month of October.. nothing like having a baby and still doing great!

That means I get 45% commission from now on!!! NEVER GOING BACK TO 40%!!!! Even if I don't make it next month.... whooo hoooo... I'm already making more then I did with SIU!
Plus I'm right back to making 5% on my downline, and $50 bonus!
Next month I'm hoping to hit Regional Director!!! I know I will.. I will get a $250 bonus!!! and 6% on my downline!!! :) In two months... YUP!!! Thats my goal!!! I had the sales for it this month, but I don't have the "people". Meaning I need to have one of my girls recruit at least one person, and become a director. (Director- 3,000 in sales for the team)
And by the end of the year I am hoping to hit MNG REG DIRECTOR!!! And make 50% commission, $500 bonus and 7% on my downline!!!!

Just another side note:
FYP does not charge $3 for catalogs, but you can sell them to your customer for $3.50. So there really is nothing about being stingy, because instead of handing catalogs out if you don't want to, you can actually sell them!... Catalogs cost you $1.20 a piece. Which was cheaper then SIU's, and it's much bigger! So even though passion parties catalogs are .15-.40 or whatever they are, you get what 3-7 pages?... With FYP you get 116 pages. You are paying lets say .02 a page for passion parties catalog, if there is 7 pages at .15 cents a page.... And you are paying .01 a page for the FYP catalog.. Since I know people love to have things broken down

Okay I want to clear somethings up. In the addendum letter that Jodi has written, the following quote was taken from it:

It is not linked in anyway with the soon to be dismissed NalPac lawsuit linked that was conveniently used to scare and entice our sales force to go to another company.
She knew about this since April - We will get back to this topic.
So the statement:It has absolutely nothing to do with the recent raiding performed by some former SIU consultants/Directors and another unamed company. ~ I assume that she is talking about ME! I want to clear something up. I LEFT ON MY OWN. I did not take anyone with me, I did not force anyone to come with me. There was NO RAID.
2 consultants had left my team prior to me even quitting, because they were unhappy with SIU for their own reasons. I had left, and then 2 other girls that were on my team left due to their own reasons, it could of been because they couldn't talk to me anymore, and we were good friends.. but I don't know the exact reason. And this unnamed company had nothing to do with me leaving, it's sounding like there was this attack against her company, and there was not!
As far as the Nalpac suit, that is public record. I did NOT send the link to any of my downline, in order to entice them! I had a large downline in SIU, and again, I only have 4 people on my team in FYP that was with SIU! SOO please do not assume things! I'm glad that it's being dismissed, I'm assuming that she has to send all the product back to them.
Soooo for those of you that don't know, I went to Key West with Jodi and Jen Lorenson on June 25th. It was for Jen and Mine's bday. At this time I was not planning on leaving SIU. It wasn't until Jodi was mentioning wholesale while we were down there, and her not wanting to be a owner anymore did it become clear to me as to what she was planning. I came home and went on vacation to SC for my brother's wedding. At this time, I get a call from Jodi telling me that she's 1/2 pricing catalogs, to give us a deal, and to make some of her money back. I do not recall her ever doing this to catalogs that were in circulation since I've been with SIU. With everything.. I decided it was time for me to leave.
#1 I can't believe she 1/2 priced catalogs while she knew she was going to close. That the people that were making her money, she was TAKING money from them, knowing that the catalogs that she was giving to them, would no longer help them when she closed.
#2 She was getting rid of her discontinued products for a cheap price. Her garage sale! Telling the consultants on why to purchase this and how it will help their business out. Someone mentioned to me that it was her personal paypal account?! I don't remember what it was. But hmm that makes you think doesn't it?

Sending out packets to people that have quit over a year ago?
Wow... Insane huh? SIU sent out a friend of mine, who had quit over a year ago a packet to join passion parties. She was actually my first recruit with SIU.. lol I find it funny that they are sending out passion party recruiting packets to people that are no longer in the business! So my friend said..." omg passion parties are you serious?.. Didn't they always say they were the worse! Pre packing their stuff, and how it takes away from the customers/consultants... that the hostess's didn't get as much for free, because the consultants actually had to pay for it. I still can't believe it." She also said she knew of at least 25 people that left passion parties to join FYP... lol isn't that a kicker!!!...

What she might forget to tell you:
Passion Parties only pays you 25% on lingerie.. So remember that whole training how lingerie can raise your party sales by 15%... Welllll It can raise your sales, but your def not making money off it! Plus you'll have to pay 10% of those sales to the hostess :)

Wow Straight from Corporate??
So people are searching out google, and trying to find anyone they can from SIU. I understand distributors of another company party plan doing it, but damn the corporate office is doing it? I'm not sure what to think about this. Low? Fair? I don't know. I feel for everyone left in SIU, that Jodi did this surprise attack on. The amount of people that are trying to get you to join with them. Just research each company please! That's all I can say... Don't go with the first one you find. Know their policys'.. Ask questions... Make sure you know everything about them, and READ THEIR CONTRACTS! :)

How is it that Jodi Stuck is already signed with passion parties, but yet still owns and operates spice it up parties. #1 isn't that against contract?.. #2.. Talk about the BIGGEST pirating RAID ever!

So lets say you do a $500 party and have $150 in credit cards
$500 party (avg) $150 in credit card (low amount of credit card transaction.. I know)
40% commission = $200
- $50 for the hostess program (cost you $30 w/ your 40% comm)
=170
- 5.25 credit card fees
=164.75
-shipping cost you have to pay passion parties (unknown so i'm just going to say lets play fair and put $15)
=149.75
-shipping cost to your hostess, plus the bags and labels you have to use (again playing really fair and we'll say $15)
=134.75
Wow you made a whopping $134.75 (again this is based on these shipping cost)
Now don't worry, because you can charge your customers $65.25 to get this cost back for you.... But remember to make sure you know ahead of time what your party will be, with 5 people that would mean $13 a person... geez!
O I almost forgot... Are you giving your hostess's credits for booking a party, because after all ladies they were used to that! So take that off your commission!!
O but wait.... what about the 15% your hostess's are used to!!!... for a $500 party.. your' only giving her $50!.. That's a rip off... She's used to $75! ... So instead take off $45 :)

But you have fun... charging more on shipping... and giving your hostess's.. LESS.. And they will come look for other party plans that will offer them more of a selection, and more rewards .

Did you get that?.. We arn't used to this! If you want to go and give up 10% of your commission to pay for your hostess program, you go right ahead :) But i'll stay at my 40-60% commission! (btw next month i'll be at 45% straight commission)
O that's right, you can make up for this! You can charge extra shipping. Omg what was I thinking? You can profit from your customers even more... Well how about that!! Damnit I missed the boat on that one :)

I'm not going to spend my week packing products to be shipped off for more $$ or waste my gas driving around Kansas to deliver the stuff... NOPE... So where is that 40% commission going? oooo right up the shipping cost, so you can afford to do this, plus pay for your hostess program.. stupid me! I pay $5.95 for shipping or $8.95 to go directly to their house... What is passion parties drop shipment cost? I heard it was $13... Don't quote me...
Credit Cards - Merchant accounts... no merchant accounts... have PP do it for your for 3.5%.. Hey either way.. You don't have to pay the $10 fee anymore right?!.. whoo hooo..
Soo for a $300 party, you have $100 in credit cards to process. Not a big deal, that's only $3.50. Do 5 parties that month and have around $700 to process in credit cards, because you know we are a credit/debit world. I do whole parties in credit cards.... So theres $24.50...
I pay a $12 flat rate fee... I have processed over $1000 in credit cards this month already... I like my flat fee :)
Co-ed Parties - Well this is like I said... A thing that is not promoted by passion parties.. Read right from their website!

What I'm going to do?
I've been asked what am I going to do now?
I was on the phone last night with my brother for about an hour talking to him. Going through the list of what's and if's.

She can go bankrupt and not have to pay me, and i'm out the lawyer fee/and or court cost
She can close her doors, therefore noone to sue.
So my thought is, hang on for awhile.. see what happens and go from there.
With the lawsuit I posted the link for yesterday going on, I doubt there will be anything left.

My friends check was suppose to be around $400, and she only gave her $100, and on top of that then she stops payment on her $100 check??? Are you kidding me?...

Ah so the check has been officially stopped
So I get a call from the bank.. Yup they have the check in hand. I will be going there this wkend to get it. So I called her lawyer on the letter, Andrew Morris. He should be returning my phone call, I hope! If not I'll just call until he does :)

And so the SHIT continues!
I'm 29 weeks pregnant, and really do I need this shit? My friend, a past fellow director for SIU, decided to quit 2 days after me. I just received word that she received a certified letter too! WHAT? Are you kidding me!! What's hers going to say, she was signed up with FYP too? I'm not sure as to what it says, as the poor girl got her tonsils out yesterday. We both have two children, and this is considered our Job!
So now please tell me.... What this shows you??

Certified Letter ~ Stop payment on my check???
My children had a doctors appointment today and I received this certified letter from SIU. BELOW... So she thinks I was with FYP as of the 15th??? WHAT? Are you insane. I did not sign the contract UNTIL AFTER I resigned on the 23rd with SIU. Plus this is my wages for JUNE, not JULY, where the offense took place according to her. Therefore she can't take my wages for JUNE, but only for JULY.
Does she think I'm stupid? I'm going to roll over and take it? No, i'm not a stupid little girl. I'm not going to accept this. There is no documentation to state that I was with FYP, prior to me leaving with SIU. So I wrote her lawyers: BELOW::

I have just received a certified letter in the mail, regarding stop payment on my override check #50092 for June. Because, SIU has documented proof that I've been active with FYP as back as July 15th, and am in violation of my SIU contract.
I did not resign from SIU until the 23rd, which I have documentation, and I did not JOIN FYP until AFTER I resigned from SIU, which I also have documentation to prove. I actually did a party on July 14th with SIU, and submitted it that week. It will be impossible for me to do a show while, 1. I'm not even in FYP's system, because of them being away due to convention. 2. I don't have nearly enough product to do a show with ie. I'm purchasing a kit as I can show 3. I don't have the materials neccessary to help me do a show.
I am requesting SIU to provide documented proof that I broke the contract as stated, if the check has been stopped payment, then I will proceed legally in Schuylkill County Court for my override wages in June 2008.
Furthermore, if this was the case, Jodi has no legal right to withhold my JUNE paycheck as I did not resign from SIU until July 23rd.

Unfortunately, in our contract it states that I can't have contact with any of the SIU reps that I have left behind. The friendships still remain, but with no contact it's hard! Actually, a couple of my friends/fellow reps that were on my team, have decided to leave and contacted me. I did not expect for them to follow me over to the new company, but maybe they can see what I do?

I missed a couple reps, and the email was accidently sent to them. I'm truly sorry for ANY SIU reps that received the email from me, but that was not meant for you. I do want to thank Melissa Johnson with SIU, that fwd'ed my email to Julia, which I received an email from Jodi, Instead of replying back to me asking to be removed from my contacts. She and someone else decides that it would be best to get me into trouble. This isn't a game ladies.

Please find below an email from Melissa Johnson. This is the second such email that has been forwarded to our office today by active SIU Consultants with open solicitation. It is apparent that you are attempting to further pirate from SIU as there would be absolutely no reason why you would email to people who live in Maryland and Missouri for parties when you are located in Syracuse NY. This is a blatant violation of your non-solicitation clause of your SIU contract, and will not be tolerated.
You are hereby ordered to cease and desist any and all forms of contact with any SIU affiliate. These emails have been forwarded to our attorneys, who are currently preparing suit against. Further soliciation attempts will result in additional damages being added to the suit.

I decided that It was time to quit SIU, alot of things were going on and It was my choice. Alot of people might be wondering why I quit SIU, because "I loved it so much". I'm 7 months pregnant, and it could be that it just got to be to much.
I have been making graphics for SIU for over 2 years, and also have been running the SIU layout site. Never did I get $$ for the graphics, or any compensation of any kind for it. But I was still asked to continue to make things for SIU, fliers, graphics, banners. I was even asked to make Jodi's personal myspace layout twice. And do it for her.
Also the backorder issues have got out of hand in May. I cannot run a business when my customers are not getting their products. Or even their products on time. SIU was taking at least 2 weeks plus in getting parties to our hostess's.
Then come to find out there is a lawsuit that was filed by Nalpac, one of her distributors. If the backorder, delays and now the lawsuit doesn't bring up questions, i'm not sure what does?
On top of that, Jodi told me things that other consultants told her. Things that should of never been repeated, or things that I did not need to know! Personal things. It really made me question....
There is more, but those were the main reasons.
